BLEED RUNNER

Summary

A simple, chaotic beat-em-up made in Unity where you’re constantly bleeding out.

I was one of two core developers on BLEED RUNNER, overseeing publishing and managing our external audio team in addition to designing and developing the game.

My Work

  • Designed and implemented core systems, including player abilities, enemies, and a security-camera perspective.

  • Added features and sequences concentrically, working from prototypes to gold master.

  • Scripted set-pieces and encounters, including a 100-man battle and sniper sequence.

  • Laid out, lighted, and set-dressed entire level sequence.

  • Ran 2 playtests per week, revising the game to address player feedback.

  • Presented game build weekly to brain trust of classmates and industry mentors.

  • Managed development cycle through content macro, burndown chart, and task lists.
